Federal law requires credit reporting agencies to provide one copy of your credit report annually at no cost. Take advantage of this and request all three of your reports annually.  Review them to ensure the information is accurate.  Take immediate action to correct any incorrect information or address any unusual activity.  Do not request all 3 at the same time.  Stagger your requests..  www.annualcreditreport.com
